As the Product Marketing Manager for UK compliance products, you’ll be accountable for positioning and marketing UK compliance products to new and existing Xero customers, ensuring the successful packaging, launch and delivery to our customers through the right channels and teams. We’re developing exciting and innovative products and in this role you’ll thrive working in the agile and innovative product development world to clearly articulate the value that UK compliance products deliver, including the features and benefits, to drive adoption and usage. You’ll be empowered to think creatively and disruptively to make the product a success and ensure we meet and exceed our commercial targets.

What you'll do

·       Develop value propositions for products and craft customer facing messaging for key audiences, driving adoption and usage of UK compliance products amongst our customers

·       Assess the market, competitors, industry trends and customer needs, integrating this information into your product marketing plans

·       Ensure Product Managers have the right market and customer insights to shape their roadmaps and prioritise the right opportunities to achieve product market fit, planning and preparing the best ways to ensure existing users know of enhancements

·       Own the go-to-market strategies and programs of work across multiple markets, coordinating  activities to support awareness or best ways to increase existing user engagement

·       Be the bridge of communication between the product team and other key stakeholders across Xero including the go to market, sales and partner marketing teams, building robust cross functional relationships

What you'll bring

·       You’ll have experience developing, testing and optimising customer propositions

·       You’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to use customer and data insights to develop and execute marketing programs

·       You’ll have experience in agile product development, understanding the role product marketing plays in ensuring commercial success

·       You’ll be used to working and thriving in a fast paced environment  

·       You’ll be able build effective relationships with key stakeholders, quick to establish rapport and trust

·       Knowledge of SaaS or software solutions would be a benefit but is not essential

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. Based in our London office, with flexibility to work from home as well, the role is accompanied by a competitive salary plus benefits.

The Role

·         As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for calling leads, establishing key decision makers and gaining contact details.

·         Contacting decision makers via phone and email to introduce the company and services

·         Networking using social media platforms including LinkedIn, responsible for keeping company page up to date. Posting relevant industry and company information

·         Carry out market research to establish new business

·         Completing administrative work as required

·         Working towards set targets and KPI's

 

The Person

·         Previous experience within business development / lead generation/ Marketing

·         Ability to have an investigative approach to discover new leads

·         Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate over the phone in an engaging manner
