Finance Director
As a growing global remote organization, we are looking for an all-knowing finance guru to support the financial decision making of LaunchGood. From establishing and scaling financial systems, budget management, to reviewing financial health and performance within the parameters of our cash flow and forecasts.

As the Director of Finance you are responsible for the company’s financial health and operational cash management. You will work with all our departments of LaunchGood and help them plan and manage their budgets. You will also lead the building and scale of accounting systems to manage/reconcile campaign accounts globally. You will also work closely with the senior leadership to help them manage the long term sustainability, as well as understand where LaunchGood can best optimize for operational efficiency.

Support the Chief of Customer Experience to lead in creating and shaping the best and most delightful customer experience.

  1. Experience managing customer support processes for at least 3 to 5 years 
  2. Management and training experience for at least three years

1. Customer Support Supervision  (60%)

a. Supervise and manage all LaunchGood support touch points, process and support team 

b. Run daily stand ups on open tickets and unresolved issues

c. Constantly find ways to enhance current support process and decrease response time by 50%

d. Improve the campaign review and approval process to ensure we are responding within 24 hours or less 

e. Review escalated issues and  compliance research for international campaigns 

f. Lead development of all help desk, documentation, and support tools 

g. Keep ahead of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement

2. Development/Design Feedback/Definition (20%)

a. Lead the design/development feedback and definition of solutions to customer pain points

b. Advocate for changes that affect users in different scenarios

c. Compile, categorize, and maintain a list of bugs, fixes, and changes to site 3. Coaching and Training (20%)

a. Recruit and consistently train LaunchGood support specialists on new processes or changes b. Lead and organize diligent training documentation 

c. Run support team training retreats and mentoring 

4.  General

Compliance Officer and Program Manager


To make LaunchGood the safest crowdfunding platform/place to give to online!


  • Executing and implementing platform-wide risk management policy as well as; maintaining compliance program
  • Designing and maintaining all elements of sanctions compliance framework, assessing related sanctions risk exposure in keeping with the company’s risk appetite, overseeing the quality of sanctions control processes, and managing and mitigating those sanctions risks to protect the platform
  • Assisting in shaping the LaunchGood campaign approval policy, auditing and reviewing all payment flows and processes
  • Advising, training, and overseeing adherence to procedures and processes for compliance by front line units such as the Campaign Approval team to meet required standards;
  • Identify trends and patterns in alerts, dispositions, to develop risk mitigation and detection policies and keeping the company’s risk management framework up to date. 
  • Working with our technology solution providers, and identifying others that enable effective and efficient compliance risk management across our company.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration to the platform's reputation and safeguarding LaunchGood by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and adhering to Policy.
  • Working collaboratively with our payment processors to showcase the strong implementation of the compliance risk process and procedures
  • Interacting with the Senior Management team to raise awareness of sanctions trends, emerging issues, remedial actions or enhancements to the program.
  • Assessing the impact of issues/violations (legal/regulatory, policy, reputational, etc.), identifying process gaps and helping define and manage disciplinary and corrective actions, as appropriate.
  • Participating in and managing, as appropriate, various internal assurance processes, e.g., self-assessment, internal audit or compliance assurance reviews.
  • Reviewing and investigating potential fraudulent transactions in accordance with the policy framework
  • Investigating potential concerns around campaign organizers intended goals, beneficiaries, and fund settlement path and process.
