Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. Our mission is to help children and young people with autism to learn, thrive and achieve. We work to improve the services available for children and young people with autism, to increase awareness and understanding of autism, to campaign for change and, through TreeHouse School, The Rise School and Ambitious College, to offer outstanding specialist education and support.

Through our new and exciting programme of work, Employ Autism, we aim to affect national system change for how young people with autism transition to sustained employment. We will form regional clusters through which we will test, learn and build evidence.  

The Project Officer - Employ Autism will work in partnership with the Programme Manager and wider internal team at Ambitious about Autism to provide administration support to the outputs and outcomes of the regional work.  

We are seeking to appoint a candidate who has: 

  • Good attention to detail 
  • Experience of using client/customer databases
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of supporting events and meetings
  • Experience of managing data within GDPR guidelines.  

The role will be based in London with the option to work remotely and will also involve travelling long distances across the country.
