Job Description

Role: Utilities Administrator

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA

Hours: Full-Time / Permanent / 40hrs per week

Salary: £18,000 

What will my role look like?

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Administrator to join our Utilities Team! As a Utilities Administrator, you will be the interface between suppliers and the Utilities Department. This role will involve maintaining strong relationships with our utility and service providers. You will also be required to assist with bill validation reports, energy saving projects and be a general administration assistant for the team!

What would my main responsibilities be?

·       Providing administrative support to the Utilities Team

·       Assisting with bill validation services

·       Assisting the finance department with billing queries

·       Communicating with utility and service providers

·       Developing and updating databases / Management Information for the estates utilities

·       Maintaining meter records and databases

·       Assisting with the roll out of energy saving programs

·       Answering the telephone and dealing with queries

·       Communicating with the utilities team daily

·       Replying and dealing with emails / enquiries / issues

·       Ensuring accurate data entry on databases / spreadsheets / management information

·       Managing & Prioritising workload / duties
