Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Team Manager

Location: Fulwood, Preston 

Salary: £29,000+

 

Would you like a highly varied role working within a fast paced environment within the Graduate and Apprentice recruitment team? We currently have a vacancy for a Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Team Manager at our site in Fulwood, Preston. 

As a Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Team Manager, you will be acting as the key interface within the recruitment delivery team, building and developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders that include hiring managers, candidates, HR and suppliers. In addition you will be the direct line manager for a small team of Recruitment Advisors

This role will provide you with a great development opportunity and is an expanding area within Shared Services.

 

Your main responsibilities as a Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Team Manager will involve: 

Leading and coaching a small team of professionals

Scheduling and reviewing progresses against PDR and development plans to agreed timescales

Monitoring performance statistics within the team to identify and manage any underlying issues/areas of improvement

Working with the Recruitment Team Manager to develop and deliver against measures and targets for the early careers recruitment service

Ensuring that the all aspects of the early careers recruitment service is aligned and there is a standard and consistent approach to service delivery

Being recognised as the point of contact and subject matter expert for the early careers recruitment service for all customers

Being seen as the key operational delivery interface between HR Services and the relevant Centre of Expertise

Optimising the early careers recruitment service provision, through the review of existing working practices and processes, and by identifying and recommending areas for enhancement as appropriate

 

 

Additional

Your skills and qualifications:

Knowledge and experience of high volume, end to end recruitment processes is essential and knowledge of the Early Careers landscape would be highly desirable

Good IT skills, in particular applicant tracking systems

Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own and team’s workload including risk management

Experience in process improvement, delivery and implementation

Ability to manage change of process and people through change

Good presentation, communication, engagement and influencing skills, together with experience of managing multiple stakeholders

Previous line management experience and the ability to team lead, coach, engage and motivate a team to achieve the highest standards of performance and accuracy is highly desirable
