Job Description

IT Technician

Banbury, Oxford

Monday – Friday

9am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break

20 days annual leave + Bank holidays

£8092.50 per annum

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring software to securely connect to different workplaces
  • Troubleshooting issues raised on the helpdesk, using a range of communication methods such as email and telephone
  • Hosting and analysing data on office 365 and Microsoft
  • Configuration of end-user equipment such as laptops, PCs, mobile phones and tablets
  • Administration and installation of Sophos

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by Blue Planet IT and Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Grade 4/C in Maths or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Passion for IT
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program with the possibility of progression onto one of our level 4 programs
