Role: HR Systems Coordinator

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA

Hours: Full-Time Hours / 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £18,000 - £19,000

What will my role look like?

We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Systems Coordinator! In this role you will support the HR Shared Services function through the delivery of an efficient HR service to the business. This is a key role within the team with responsibility for ensuring our systems and records are accurate and up to date. 

 

You will be required to organise and prioritise workload according to deadlines and the changing needs of the business and HR function.

 

This role is a temporary fixed term contract for 12 months.

 

What would my main responsibilities be?

  • Assisting with administrative activities in connection with ad hoc HR Projects including TUPE
  • Supporting the HR advisory team with routine administration tasks
  • Working to improve employee records and administrative processes
  • Chasing in employee records
  • Scanning documents onto the system and saving them in the relevant folder
  • Monitoring the new starter and leavers process taking action as necessary
  • Keeping employee files and HR systems up to date including eligibility to work documents and personal data
  • Handling reference requests
  • Chasing in signed contracts and policies and procedures as necessary
  • Processing DBS and credit checks
  • Collating relevant company reports as requested 
  • First point of call for colleagues advising on system processes

  • Previous HR experience is desired but not essential
  • CIPD desired
