Job Description



We are looking to engage a Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow both our EG Fuel Card offering and associated products to increase our B2B marketshare in Australia. This opportunity will allow you to identify, target and close new B2B opportunities that meet agreed customer profiles and contribute to the profitability of the business. This role will advocate the benefits a partnership with EG will deliver business clients in relation to their refuelling needs. 


Reporting directly to the Head of B2B you will:

·       Identify, develop and close targeted pipelines of customers for EG Fuel Card that will deliver agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

·       Manage and priorities sales pipeline to ensure that outcomes and KPIs are achieved

·       Create and develop B2B relationships that deliver sales outcomes and results

·       Ensure all deals are financially profitable and signed off as required

·       Continue to build your competitor and market knowledge to ensure that EG has relevant offers and services

·       Ensure all sales activities are captured within CRM


·       Experience in selling fuel or energy solutions in a corporate sales environment is preferred

·       This role is solely focussed on new business acquisition so, proven experience as a high performing BDM role, executing the full sales cycle in a B2B environment is required

·       Relevant degree or qualification in Business, Sales or Marketing is highly regarded

·       Ability to travel and work autonomously is mandatory

·       Able to demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills to broad range of stakeholders; Business Owners, Procurement Managers, Fleet Managers, etc ;

·       Demonstrated success in Business Development and achieving performance targets.
